Quick 5...

In the firm belief that the pun is mightier than the word, one wonders...

Considering that he talks non-stop, should Lalit Modi be named Mouth ka saudagar?

How come a man named Vijay ends up being the owner of losing teams like RCB and Force India?

Where does Saurav go when he is pissed? To the John?

What do you call a rising stock market? A load of bull?

If pigs can't fly, how come swine flu?

PS: Which TV commentator's name anagrams with "I'm brain dead"? :D

  1. I vehemently oppose demeaning brilliant puns with tags like "slap your forehead". Atleast remove the tag for lines 1,2 and 6.

  2. *Bows at the puns*

PS: Mandira Bedi. Have you been busy with I, Rearrangement Servant? :)

"slap your forehead" is not a demeaning tag! Though the intent, while writing, is always to induce "What kinda crap is this?" wala forehead slap...

It could also mean "Man, why didn't I think of that?" wala forehead slap...

    @ Hari:
    tnx :)
and yeah, "I, Rearrangement Servant" is my newfound obsession :)

  8. @ Vivek:
    Thank you, thank you...
careful with the forehead though :)

    @ AnjanaR:
you'd expect me to say "if only everyone affected by a broken leg could learn to channelize their energy in such a creative way", but I won't :)

and I'm not "affected" by the slowdown yet... thankfully... I still have my job...
touching the woods, prayings, coconut breakings...

  9. let me rephrase what i wanted to say earlier.

"if only everyone affected by the economic slowdown could learn to channelize their energy in such a creative way instead of griping about how tough is has become at work."

    more long-winded but clearer, i believe. :)

  10. Lol.

From what I understand, Ms."Brain dead" is smart enough to resist the noted lothario Mr. Shastri. (Source: The Fake IPL blog) :)
